JasonNH , Jaesun and Grinningfool from the NWN2 community report buying Storm of Zehir NWN2 Expansion from Direct 2 Drive or Atari Direct with remove the DVD check and requires a one time online check and you will no longer need the SOZ DVD in your drive to play NWN2. If you still have the SOZ DVD it will still spin but no longer required.

Still no clue on when Atari and Obsidian will update the future patches to remove the DVD check in the future.

This will make us that love our DVD collection very happy.
