Today a new independent studio, DoubleBear Productions, revealed itself to the world at large. The company was founded in June by Brian Mitsoda, a former employee Black Isle Studios, Troika Games, and Obsidian Entertainment who is perhaps best known as the writer/designer of Vampire the Masquerade
: Bloodlines.

The only other staff currently listed on DoubleBear's website is Annie Carlson. Carlson is another former Obsidian Entertainment person, where she served as writer/designer on Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion Storm of Zehir.

Their first project is an RPG that will utilize Iron Tower Studios' Age of Decadence engine. Details on the game will be revealed through the website "within the next few months."
