Great show gang. I have been looking forward to this episode all week.

Great work. And wha…no show next week? Darn you and your Independence Day *shakes fist*. Just kidding
Here’s something more to those who don’t know what Alone in the Dark is want to know more. The first game in the series was released in 1992 and was the first 3D survival horror game and also started the whole genre which is now probably more famous of the game series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Also I think only the first one is based on H.P. Lovecraft stuff (only played that one so I’m not sure about the newest), others had different stuff like zombie gangsters and cowboys. This new one which was in the news is fifth game in the series.

Hiya folks.. I’m back from a western US walkabout.. ok.. a driveabout.. with the fam in the car.. so.. kinda like the Griswold’s “Vacation”.. anyway.. I’ve now listened to two great NWNPs in two days while I dig out from a mound of e-mail.. well done!
I second the motion (or third or fourth it) for game days.. maybe I’ll DM somethin’.. but.. well.. compared to Skunk I’m sure I stink.. but.. well..
Posted on June 27th, 2008 at 4:45 pm
I thought skunks stink.
*ROFLOL
Im SO funny!!

hardy har har.
they must, no new players want to sign up for my campaign DM sessions at NWC. Im thinking of giving NWN1 adventure building for the vualt some attention. I have tons of PW’s willing to let me DM there I wouldnt mind expanding some adventures with. our listener StrikerB I know is also a populer DM id like to game with.
It would be awesome if we can get more Custom content creators and groups. CEP did great to help set a standard in the community and there are plenty of awesome content that works great along with CEP. Wish more had a auto installing exe for alot of the new folks at installing these manualy.
Check out our forum folks if your interested in joining some game days together with us. Would be a good chance to check out some other small bits of amazing extra content that CEP help set the standard in our community

Ashercon,
I can’t find a e-mail like to reach you. I did e-mail Jay. I’ve poked around the podcast site and can’t find it. Drop me a line at enoa42001@yahoo.com and I’ll reply or let me know how to e-mail you.
If it’s in plain site then I’ve failed my ’spot’ check. Sorry.
Ernie

Posted on July 8th, 2008 at 4:36 am
I heard it from some small looking lizard dude who was making out with an annoying Elven Paladin turned Blackguard.
Posted on July 8th, 2008 at 12:00 pm
I heard it here on the podcast
Posted on July 8th, 2008 at 2:41 pm

Posted on July 8th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
Leave your icky lizards outa the game and if I hear someone saying this place has a pet fox I am gonna bite.
Posted on July 9th, 2008 at 5:59 am
I don’t know whose idea it was to change Kobolds to lizards, but in the original AD&D Monster Manual they were of canine stock. Always will be in my mind.
Posted on July 9th, 2008 at 7:00 am
Oh yeah back then they were fuzzy! I remember seeing old piccies of those. Wow Ro must be around for a longer time then. *ogles at Ro*
Posted on July 9th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
Yeah, and back then it was “ADVANCED” Dungeons and Dragons.. regular D&D was for … un-advanced players? Not sure.. but somewhere in there where it gained edition number is lost it’s advancement, I guess.
Posted on July 9th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
I started with AD&D and a really creative game master. THis one time the group was camping ontop of hill and suddenly the “hill” lifted off into the air with a rawr and the campfire that we had placed there magically because our chars were not very successfull with making fire. About 20 sessions later we got a tremendous amount of XP because the fire has actually burned its way through the back of the dragon and so killed it. (of course just an excuse for the DM who has forgotten to give us XP and lost his XP chart)
AD&D was fun. (remembers the player of a mage who used his starting cash to hire a small army to fight for him and how said mage died rediculously because of failing a riding check and so breaking his neck) My DM hated powermongers and rule lawyers.
